Spring in Wrightwood

In the Spring the streams flow and the air is crisp, the forest is busy with life. Hundreds of varieties of birds visit feeders and fill the branches. Cotton-like clouds float slowly across the sky. Squirrels chase each other nose to tail around the trunks of pines, while higher in the mountains the larger animals begin to stir. Yards in the village are vibrant with the colors of blooming tulips and lilacs. As the snow melts away, Jackson Lake is filled with clean cold new water. Everywhere new, green budding life appears and a variety of birds sing their songs.
