Wildlife The Angeles National Forest provides a home for a vast array of wildlife. The sights and sounds of these forest residents are an enjoyable part of your visit to the mountains. Some animals such as squirrels and songbirds are seen quite often. Other animals are more sensitive and stay out of view. Owls, raccoons and bighorn sheep are examples of wildlife that are not commonly seen. REMEMBER: Feeding wildlife makes them dependant on YOU as a source of food. They remain healthier when you do not interfere with their natural diet. |
